Reporting (Drills & CLERY)

CLERY:
The Cranbrook Academy of Arts annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning drug and alcohol use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, hate crimes, sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, emergency response and evacuation procedures, annual fire safety report and fire log, missing student notification, timely emergency notifications, and other matters. Drill Reporting:
In compliance with the State of Michigan Public Act #12 on School Safety, below are the up to date completed drills at Cranbrook Schools. All Pre-K through 12th grade school buildings complete 5 Fire, 2 Emergency Weather, and 3 Lockdown/ Shelter or ALICE drills annually. All drills are documented by Cranbrook Security, overseen by the Director of Security & Safety, and communicated to County and City Law Enforcement Agencies.
